Julia Stanton
Julia Stanton, Director of Orientation Programs, manages the many facets of the orientation process for undergraduate, transfer and graduate students. Through collaboration with Enrollment Management, the Associate Deans Council, Student Affairs and other campus partners, Julia develops and implements orientation programming that supports a seamless, successful transition to the bluff for new students.
Julia joins LMU from the University of Southern California, where she held the position of Associate Director for Orientation Programs, coordinating 15 on-campus orientation programs annually for 4,000+ first-year students and 1,500+ family members and guests. Additionally, she managed off site Orientation programs for the University at venues in Chicago, Dallas, Paris, Beijing, Shanghai and Hong Kong. Prior to that, Julia served as a Resident Director at Biola University, overseeing a housing complex of 300 students.
Julia earned her Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from Wheaton College and her Master’s degree in Higher Education & Student Affairs from Indiana University.
