As vice provost for Enrollment Management at Loyola Marymount University, Maureen P. Weatherall, Ed.D. leads the Offices of Undergraduate Admission, Career and Professional Development, Financial Aid, the Registrar, International Student Outreach, Transfer Enrollment Services, Enrollment Management Research and Enrollment Management Communications.

Loyola Marymount University is a preeminent Jesuit university located in the heart of the dynamic, world-class city of Los Angeles. LMU is located in LA’s westside, just steps from the rising tech-hub of Silicon Beach, the entertainment capital of Hollywood, and downtown LA’s thriving business center.

Of her appointment in April 2013, Joseph Hellige, the then executive vice president and provost at LMU, said, “Dr. Weatherall brings to this position a unique understanding of the complexities and challenges facing universities today. She is a proven leader who has collaborated with colleagues across her institution to develop, communicate and implement innovative and successful enrollment strategies to meet institutional goals.”

She holds a membership in NACAC, NAFSA, NASFAA, AACRO, NACE, and The College Board. Having traveled extensively throughout Asia, Dr. Weatherall has significant experience developing partnerships and recruiting in that region. In 2009, her research was published as a book titled, ‘Varsity Athletics and Enrollment Management: A Strategic Partnership.’

Dr. Weatherall came to LMU with over 20 years at Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, New Jersey. In her last role there, she was the vice president and chief administrative officer overseeing the departments responsible for enrollment, retention, student affairs, athletics, residence life, dining services, human resources, and special functions. During her 22-year career at the institute, Dr. Weatherall held administrative positions in a number of key areas, including dean of undergraduate admissions and financial aid.

Having earned her Ed.D. in higher education leadership from the University of Pennsylvania, Dr. Weatherall holds her B.E. in chemical engineering and M.M.S. in managerial economics from Stevens Institute of Technology.
