Nick Simonton is a seasoned marketing, communications, and operations leader with over two decades of experience across diverse public and private sectors, including early and higher education, technology, creative, marketing, and video production agencies.

As the Director of Enrollment Marketing and Communications at LMU, Nick works to advance the institution's enrollment initiatives through strategic multi-channel initiatives. Nick’s career is marked by a dedication to data-backed marketing initiatives that combine the execution of comprehensive strategies with creative storytelling to resonate and create impact across diverse audiences and markets.

Nick's professional journey is characterized by leadership roles that emphasize brand development, integrated communications, revenue and student growth, and fostering organizational engagement. Nick comes to LMU after serving as the Director of Marketing and Communications at Keck Graduate Institute, a member of The Claremont Colleges, working with employers such as United Airlines, Microsoft, the University of Washington, and as a partner to several other businesses and agencies.

An alumnus of the University of Washington, Nick holds a degree in Sociology, which underpins his inclusive approach to inclusive communication, cohesive marketing strategies, leadership, and team development.

Beyond his professional commitments, Nick has served on several boards of nonprofit organizations in and around Seattle, WA, and is active in the community, supporting and leading community initiatives, including several social service organizations. His passion for inclusive leadership and strategic growth underpins his work and continues to inspire those around him.
