Tracee Passeggi
Tracee Passeggi, J.D., is a higher education leader with more than 20 years of experience holding director and senior leadership roles across career services, student success, disability services, and intercollegiate athletics. Throughout her career, she has led organizational transformation, built collaborative partnerships, and developed innovative strategies that improve student success and strengthen institutional effectiveness. Her leadership extends beyond the campus through service on numerous university, CSU systemwide, and NCAA committees, reflecting a longstanding commitment to advancing the profession and improving student outcomes at both the institutional and national levels.
Over the past several years, Tracee has focused her leadership on advancing career development as an essential component of the student experience. As Director of the Career Center at Cal Poly Pomona, she led the transformation of the Career Center into a strategic campus partner and championed a university-wide career ecosystem that connected career readiness with academics, experiential learning, and employer engagement. By working collaboratively with faculty, academic leaders, employers, alumni, and community partners, she helped embed career development throughout the student journey, creating meaningful pathways that prepare students for lifelong career success.
Prior to leading the Career Center, Tracee served as Director of the Disability Resource Center at Cal Poly Pomona, where she guided a period of significant organizational growth, expanded services, and strengthened campus partnerships to improve access and student success. Earlier in her career, she held senior leadership positions in NCAA Division I and II athletics administration, where she developed expertise in strategic planning, enrollment management, compliance, and student support.
Tracee earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Oregon School of Law and her bachelor's degree in history from San Francisco State University. She is passionate about fostering collaboration across campus and creating career ecosystems that connect students, faculty, employers, and alumni in ways that expand opportunity and prepare students for meaningful careers and lifelong success.
